Option 1 (most popular): embed into the base

This is the most durable and clean-looking method.

Step 1. Prep the nail
Do manicure prep, cleanse/degrease, apply primer (if needed). Apply base/coat/color. Cure.

Step 2. Apply a thin layer of clear base
Do NOT cure.

Step 3. Place the dragon scale pieces
Using tweezers / a dotting tool / an orange stick.
Important: gently press each piece so it “sinks” into the base.

Step 4. Cure in the lamp
LED 60 sec.

Step 5. Finish
Seal with top coat (preferably medium-thick), cap the free edge. Cure.
